More of China's wealthiest people are getting involved in Communist Party politics. An analysis by The Wall Street Journal, using data on China’s biggest private fortunes from Shanghai research firm Hurun Report, determined that 160 of China’s 1,024 richest people, with a collective family net worth of $221 billion, are seated in three key organs of party power. The analysis also found wealth represented in other politicized Chinese organizations.
