The wind of change.变迁之风。在1990年的时候，有一首名为 “Wind Of Change” 的摇滚歌曲曾风靡全球，歌曲的演唱者是德国最具世界知名度的乐队——Scorpions。乐队在70年代初就成立，一直以凌厉的双吉他演奏和主唱嘹亮的高音而闻名乐坛，并且三十年不变的坚守着流行重金属路线，尽管在近期作品中加入了时下流行的电子舞曲成分，但始终还是离不开重金属这条主线，我们在奇怪他们顽固不化的同时，不尽也对他们的这种执着精神致敬。
蝎子乐队最早成立于1969年，由 Rudolf Schenker（rhythm guitar/vocals）, Karl-Heinz Follmer（lead guitars）, Lothar Heimberg（bass）, Wolfgang Dziony（drums）组成，1971年，Rudolf Schenker 的弟弟 Michael Schenker 加入乐队，担任成为主音吉他一职，好朋友 Klaus Meine 则成为新的主唱。1972年，Scorpions 推出了第一张专辑《Lonesome Crow》，专辑中的一些歌曲后来被用在一部电影的原声唱片中。但他们的第一次出击并未引起人们太大的注意，倒是当时另一支著名的硬摇滚乐队 UFO 注意到了 Michael Schenker 的出色表现，在1973年把他挖入乐队。于是 Uli Jon Roth 加入 Scorpions ，代替原先 Michael Schenker 的位置，并成为乐队的领导人物，在他的领导下，Scorpions先后推出四张专辑：《Fly to the Rainbow》(1974), 《In Trance》(1975), 《Virgin Killer》(1976) 和《Taken By Force》（1977），尽管乐队当时并未在美国打响知名度，但他们在日本却很受欢迎。1978年，乐队推出了一套在东京现场演出的双专辑 - 《Tokyo Tapes》。
